The Hot Zone™ Griddle offers unique technology that allows you adjust the temperature to sear your favorite foods with ease. Now, you can sear fish, scallops, steaks, vegetables and more directly on the same surface where you’re cooking your food.
The technology works by offering our specialized Hot Zone™ cooking area on one side of the cooking surface. When the sear button on the digital control probe is pressed, the temperature on this section of the griddle raises to 500 degrees (optimal searing temperature) for 2 minutes, while the rest of the cooking surface stays at your regular cooking temperature. This allows you to quickly sear the outside of steaks, scallops and more at the same time that you’re cooking the rest of your meal on the regular griddle surface. Then when you’re not using the one-touch sear function, Hot Zone™ cooking area maintains the same temperature as the rest of the griddle surface so you can prepare whole meals for the family at once.

In addition to this Hot Zone™ technology, the Hot Zone™ Griddle also features a wide-range of other advantages over the everyday griddles you may have used before. The nonstick coating is actually our George Tough™ ceramic nonstick, which allows you to cook most foods oil-free – even on more delicate foods like eggs. In addition, the ceramic nonstick surface easily wipes clean with a damp sponge, so cleanup time after your meal is faster and simpler.
The Hot Zone™ Griddle also features our new Intelli-Probe™ digital control system that allows you to set cooking temperatures and even start searing at just the touch of a button.
