Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage I bought this three days ago. The first time I used it, it took 25 minutes to cook 4 hamburgers. The second time I used it (today), it was still cooking them after 40 minutes! The burgers were light brown by then. I got tired of waiting an transferred the burgers to a regular skillet. And the griddle? Like everyone else is saying, the meat literally slides off as soon as you open the lid.Seriously, I want my money back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from grease runs over, meat slides off I just bought my Dad one of these and he is not happy, he wants his old one back. He wants to open it and try to fix it, he's 86 and in his mind it has to be something simple he can fix. He used his old George Foreman so much that it was like loosing his ability to cook. He has forgotten how to use the stove and we are kind of afraid of him using it anyway, but he hates this new grill. He says the grease runs over and gets all over the cabinet and his steaks slide down and into the grease soon as he lifts the lid. Don't know what I'll do yet, I've been reading about some of the other grills but don't know what would be best. I'm really upset as I had planned to buy us one too. Oh yeah, he says it doesn't heat up like his old one either and took way longer to cook even on high.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Was great until it dies!! This is our 3rd GF! we use it all the time - especially with 2 growing teenage boys. The first 2 we wore the teflon off so we figured the ceramic would last longer. We have had it about 5 months and cooked burgers on it yesterday. Today, it no longer works! Any help is appreciated>

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Is great ... when it worked ... I received a “George Foreman GRP1001BP 6-serving removable plate grill” for my birthday in May of last year (2016), but I don’t remember who gave it to me and I do not have a receipt. I really wouldn't want to embarrass myself by asking who gave it to me, and I wouldn't want to embarrass anyone else by telling them that their gift failed/broke.I didn’t really use it that much at all at first, but since then, business had gotten bad, and I have lost a lot of my income, so I had to move into a smaller apartment and start pinching pennies, and that means I had to begin cooking at home a lot more. I still cook quite a bit on the stove but when cooking things like steak, hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken, I use the grill.I have only used it maybe 15-20 times since I started cooking with it, and the last time I did, it turned on ok, and got up to the correct temperature. I turned around to the counter behind me to get the burgers I was going to cook, and when I turned back to put them on the grill, the unit was off (all lights were off). My first assumption was that the circuit breaker had tripped, so I check and nope, no problem there. So, I plugged something else into the same socket and it worked. I tried letting the unit cool all the way down, and then plugged it in again, but it still wouldn’t work.My previous indoor/outdoor unit, which I used so often that I wore the Teflon out/off, lasted me years, so I am baffled as to why this one only lasted for maybe 20 short cooking sessions. Mind you, I 've only cooked things like burgers or chicken thighs on the grill, and I live alone, so it’s not like I was cooking for extended periods of time or cooked tons of food on it when I did. I really loved the fact that this one had removable ceramic plates on it, rather than Teflon but, I need it to work.I understand that this has a 3-year warranty but, as I said, it was a birthday present, and I don’t know for sure who gave it to me. I am now on a very limited budget, and can’t afford to replace the unit myself so, I am hoping that someone can help me get this serviced or replaced somehow … preferably for free.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't see the angle adjustment. Just bought this and the box says: adjustable angle, tilt for grilling, flat for paninis. It points to the rear legs. The legs are molded into the body of the grill. Probably going to return the grill.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I got this as a gift for Christmas because my old one was just worn out and I really wanted a new one. I have had great experiences with two grills in the past, but this one was a huge disappointment. I put six hamburgers on to grill and before they were even done, the grease was running over the little tiny tray that came with it. My old grills came with two trays and they were much larger. I can't believe they went smaller. The grill also practically sits on the counter so I can't even improvise. Tried the old trays and they don't fit under the grill. Also, the food slides down and goes into the grease if not careful. So disappointed, this is my first review I have ever written on a product. Do all the styles have that little tiny tray now? Love the old models I have had in the past, but not this model. I would not recommend this model or other models if the trays have all been changed to the very small trays.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed!! I wanted this for Christmas so my husband bought it for me. You know what they say about being careful what you wish for! Lol It doesn't get as hot (even on highest setting) as my older george foreman grill. Barely any grill marks and chicken breasts looked pale when done...seems to "steam" the food!!!! Yuck!!! And when I opened it the food wanted to slide off!! I wanted it for the ease of cleaning but not at the cost of cooking food properly!! Would not recommend this one!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bummer! I bought this unit to replace a smaller one which works great but I needed a larger surface. It worked great for about 6 months and then nothing. It won't turn on. I've tried different outlets to make sure it wasn't the one I normally use. I even exercised the button under the bottom plate to make sure it wasn't stuck but no luck. I have a dead Forman. Any ideas what to check or fix? Thanks.
