Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Grill I bought this grill about 4 years and its still working great. The only problem that I have, as well as others apparently, is that the non-stick coating on the plates has started to wear off. I looked online for replacement plates, but I couldn't find any. Besides that the grill cooks things fast and even and I know its more then paid for itself in the amount of times I have used it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice grill This was sent to me as a birthday present and I really like it but the instructions sure do leave a LOT to be desired, although it has a variable temperature control, I have yet to find anywhere that gives any information on how to use it, ANY info or help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from doesn't stay hot I bought this grill because of the removable plates for cleaning. I owned a small GF grill that worked great but was a pain to clean. The 2841R heats up okay and I can grill whatever I'm cooking on one side, but when i flip it over,it seems the grill goes cooler and it hardly cooks.Like I said , I liked the other one I owned, but this one pretty much sucks cause it won't stay hot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GRP2481 with adjustable temperature selector I bought this model today to replace a GRP0004B model. It served us very well for over 5 yrs.. The coating on the plates started to peel off and we were no longer comfortable using it.I have a couple of questions. We have a standard 110V/60cycle power source. Since the GRO2481 has a variable temp selector and there is no explanation in the documentation sheet about what temperatures are represented by the MIN/MAX settings, 1) What is the temp the unit reaches when it is set at the MIN setting? 2) What is the temp the unit reaches when it is set at the MAX setting?3) What in the temp the unit reaches when it is set in the middle of the slide? Also, what temp did the GRO0004B reach when the ready light went out?We are trying to determine where we should set the variable temp selector to match what the temp of our old GRO0004B unit so that we don't under or over cook the food we have routinely cooked on the Foreman Grill. It would be a 5 star if there was adequate documentation.
