Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ceramic plates won't clean completely We have had this grill for almost 2 years but only use it in the winter to grill burgers, so it really hasn't had a lot of use. We love the way it makes juicy burgers, quickly. Clean up by hand washing was always easy. However, the last 3 times we used it the meat stuck to the ceramic plates. Last night it stuck so badly that it took 2 of us to pry the grill open and it ripped the burgers in half with the top part of the burger stuck to the top ceramic plate and the bottom half of the burger stuck to the bottom ceramic plate!!! Then I couldn't get the ceramic plates completely clean. There is now a brown residue from the meat that I can't get off the ceramic plates. (Please see photo) I even tried washing them in the dishwasher and that didn't remove the brown meat residue either. Feeling really frustrated and grossed out because I can't get the plates completely clean. I noticed the same complaint from others listed here now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love the grill, wish I could buy new plates We've had our grill forever. This is probably our 3rd or 4th one. The problem is that after a period of time, the nonstick surface wears off. The grill is still good, but I wish I could replace the plates only so I don't have to buy a whole new grill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grill but having problems with food sticking I have had George Foreman grills for years. I now have a GRP1001BPC. Recently the plates are sticking to the food and pulling it apart. Is there a way to reseason the ceramic plates?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Issues with lights The Red and Green lights come on when you plug in my George Foreman GRP472P. The Green goes off and on, but the red never goes off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great grill, but issues from dishwashing I have had this grill for about 1 1/2 years. The grill works great and the ceramic grates are great for cleanup. I recently got a dishwasher and tried cleaning the grates this way, but when they come out of the dishwasher there is a black sooty film all over the backside of the grates. I have to wipe with a paper towel and then handwash to get most of the residue off, but it leaves the backside of the grates very discolored - almost as if it has corroded the back of the plates. Any ideas what is causing this? The ceramic coated fronts clean up nice, though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Indicator Lights. This is my first time I am having an issue also with the indicator lights as I am also seeing both lights staying on, and even after a long 8-10 minutes, they still stay on, and even the green light goes out during that span. Glad I kept the receipt. I am open to speak to a representative.
