AIR FRYER PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE BREAD

The Perfect Combination: Peanut butter and chocolate become best friends in this moist and fluffy air fried bread.

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
  • ⅓ cup no sugar added applesauce
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and soda, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together applesauce, yogurt, egg and vanilla.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until incorporated. Add peanut butter and mix until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the mixture into 3 greased mini (4 ½” x 2 ½” x 1 ½”) pans or one 7 ½” greased loaf pan. Place in the air fryer bowl.
  5. Tap the bake button and set temperature to 350°F and fry for 15-18 minutes for the mini loaf pans, or 30 minutes for the 7 ½” pan, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Move loaf pans to a wire rack and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Run a butter knife around edges of the loaf pans to remove bread.
  8. Cut each loaf into 4-5 slices and top with additional peanut butter and sliced bananas if desired.
