Food truck tacos done in the comfort of your own home. The amazing coleslaw topping to these fish tacos with make you keep this recipe close at hand.


  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 8 tilapia fillets
  • 8 flour tortillas

Cilantro Lime Coleslaw

  • 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 1 (14 oz.) bag coleslaw
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, ginger, cumin and lime juice.

Season the tilapia filets with salt and pepper and lay the filets in the marinade, turning to coat each side. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together coleslaw ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Preheat the Indoor/Outdoor Grill on setting 3.

Place the marinated filets on the preheated grill. Place the lid on the grill.

Grill the filets for 2 minutes per side.

Place one filet in a tortilla and top with the cilantro lime coleslaw and serve.
