Add the cilantro lime coleslaw and you've got fantastic food truck tacos made in the comfort of your own home.


Tacos & Marinade

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 8 tilapia fillets
  • Salt and pepper
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • Lime slices and cilantro for garnish as desired

Cilantro Lime Coleslaw

  • 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 1 (14 oz.) bag coleslaw
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, ginger, cumin, and lime juice.
  2. Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper and lay them in the marinade, turning to coat each side. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together coleslaw ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. If using the Indoor/Outdoor Grill, preheat it using setting 3.
  5. Place the marinated fillets on the preheated grill and lower the lid.
  6. Grill for 2 minutes per side.
  7. Place one fillet in each tortilla, top with the cilantro lime coleslaw, add garnish and serve.
