Can an extension cord be used with my grill?

An extension cord may be used, providing the marked electrical rating of the cord is at least as great as the electrical rating of the grill. For Indoor/Outdoor Grills, make sure the outdoor extension cord is marked with the suffix letter “W” and has a tag stating, “SUITABLE FOR USE WITH OUTDOOR APPLIANCE.” Ensure the cord is arranged so that it cannot be pulled on by children or tripped over.

Yes, the drip tray is removable and dishwasher safe.

Yes, marinades and sauces may absolutely be used!

If storing grill outdoors, make sure to store with the Indoor/Outdoor Round Grill Cover.

Yes, Indoor/Outdoor grills are great for making pizza! Place the pizza directly onto the grill plate; a pizza pan or pizza stone is unnecessary.

You can set the tilt flap in the back (bottom) of the grill to the desired position for either sloped or horizontal grilling. If using the waffle plates or griddle plate on a removable plate grill, make sure to set the tilt flap so the unit is in the horizontal position.

The light on the temperature control probe will cycle on and off as the grill thermostat maintains a consistent temperature. This is completely normal operation.

Simply remove the upper grill plate using the push-button plate on the side of the unit to expose the infrared broiling element. When the upper grill plate is removed, the lid will close to a height approximately 2.5 inches above the bottom grill plate, which allows the infrared broiling element to hover over the food for broiling.

Yes, the removable plates are dishwasher safe.

Unplug and allow your grill to cool before cleaning. Wash the plates and drip trays after each use. If plates are heavily soiled, soak them in warm soapy water, and use a nylon or nonmetallic scrubbing pad to clean. Wipe outside of unit with a warm, wet sponge and dry with a soft cloth. For units with removable plates, you may clean the grill plates with warm soapy water as well, or place in the dishwasher.
